Anna Depukat, MD, PhD, Head of the Office for the Pilot National Mental Health Programme, Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw is a specialist in adult psychiatry,  psychotherapist, during her specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry. Academic lecturer, author and co-author of scientific papers, participated in many research, educational and preventive projects in the field of mental health. Her doctoral thesis was about “Optimization of the model of organization of psychiatric services for the province.” at the Medical University of Silesian Piasts in Wrocław.
She worked for many years at the Clinical Hospital of dr. J. Babiński in Krakow. Initially as a doctor, psychotherapist, then as the Head of the Department and Deputy Director for Treatment.  She was also the Director of the Babiński Hospital and the Director of the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology.Main research interests: organization of psychiatric health care, suicidology, mental health prevention.
