Barbara Józefik, Ph.D, Professor of psychology, family therapist, a specialist in clinical psychology and a specialist in child and adolescent psychotherapy. She is a certificated psychotherapist and supervisor of Polish Psychiatric Association and Polish Psychological Association, the head of The Laboratory of Psychology and Systemic Psychotherapy of Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Cracow, Poland. She is the author of publications on psychotherapy, systemic family therapy, eating disorders, gender issues. She is currently engaged in research on gender issues in couple and family therapy using Conversation Analysis and Interpersonal Process Recall. She is the founder of the CONTEXT Foundation for Psychotherapy and Family Therapy Development in Cracow and the head of family therapy training.
