Bea is a medical doctor, specialized in Pediatrics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Clinical Pharmacology, and Psychotherapy. She is also a family psychotherapist, a cognitive-behavioral therapist and an EMDR therapist. She is Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Semmelweis University, Budapest. In 2005, she established the Family-Based Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Department at Semmelweis University with a special interest in eating disorders.
